Rabat – Air Arabia Maroc has announced low-cost flights connecting Casablanca and Murcia, Spain. The airline confirmed that the flights between the two destinations will operate starting from July 15.
The price for a round trip ticket between Casablanca and Murcia will range between MAD 850 and 1,000 ($80 and $112), a Moroccan television channel reported.
The airline will schedule flights twice a week: Thursdays and Mondays.
Monday’s departing flight will take off from Casablanca at 8:50 a.m. local time and will arrive in Murcia airport at 11.20 a.m.
Thursday’s flights will depart from Casablanca at 3 p.m. and will arrive in Murcia at 5:25 p.m.
Return flights from Murcia to Casablanca will take place on Mondays and Thursdays evenings. The departing flights from Murcia will leave at 9 p.m. and will arrive in Casablanca at 10:30 p.m.
Air Arabia Maroc reminded passengers that in addition to flights with Murcia, the airline will also offer trips connecting Casablanca with both Barcelona and Malaga.
The new flights are part of the airline’s commitment to continue to strengthen its flight operations from Morocco to Europe.
Earlier in June, the airline announced the launch of several new air routes linking Morocco to Europe.
The new routes will include flights linking Casablanca and Geneva, Nador, and the Netherlands’s Eindhoven, along with Oujda and Spain’s Murcia.
Airline companies continue to intensify their programs following Morocco’s decision to resume international flights, starting June 15. Morocco decided to allow the resumption of international flights after recording positive indicators regarding the epidemiological situation, and the decreased number of COVID-19 cases.
