Rabat – Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova received a marriage proposal from a Turkish fan at a game in Istanbul, Turkey, on November 26th.
In an exhibition game against the Turkish player Cagla Buyukakcay, the Russian tennis player got embarrassed after a fan shouted “Maria, will you marry me?”

Amid the noisy laughs of the audience, Sharapova nodded her head said “maybe,” before she resumed the game.
The spectators applauded the response made by the Russian former world champion.
