Rabat – Every year, the southern Moroccan city of Tan-Tan celebrates the Tan-Tan Moussem Festival in the presence of thousands of international attendees.

Recognized by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity, the festival highlights the Sahara’s culture and heritage in an enchanting atmosphere.

The southern city hosted the festival on May 5 to 10.

Camels are often called the ships of desert for their abilities to cross the deserts’ dunes and sands very easily. They can also walk for miles and miles without food nor water.
