Rabat – Travel and lifestyle magazine Conde Nast Traveller has  featured the Moroccan city of Marrakech among 24 best holiday destinations in April.

The magazine listed Marrakech as one of the 22 best destinations to visit in April. With a temperature ranging  between a high of 23 Celsius and a minimum temperature of 11 degrees, the magazine sees the city as a fit destination for travelers seeking to enjoy their spring vacation.

The magazine reassures travelers that Marrakech is not hot all year around.

“Our tip: wait till spring, the best time to visit Morocco, when it starts to warm up a bit and you can at least hope to waft around your pool in a floaty kaftan, rather than hunkering down with a book, wearing 12 cardigans and scratchy djellaba,” the magazine wrote.

Conde Nast Traveller promised travelers hillsides bursting with “almond blossom,” during spring in the city.

“The city comes alive with colour  and sunlight casts ornate shadows in every sensational courtyard,” the magazine added.

The magazine suggested the Beldi Country Club hotel as a good option for a low-impact stay.

Describing the hotel, the magazine said the facility is built with “local materials and by local artisans, and serving a seasonal menu of local organic ingredients, it’s a refuge from the city’s chaos, but just seven miles from its heart.”

Conde Nast Traveller featured Marrakech in different features this season.

In one of its recent features, the travel magazine listed Marrakech in the top 10 Friendliest Cities in the World.

The magazine also listed luxurious places in a different feature, listing Morocco’s  La Mamounia as the best hotel in Marrakech.

The magazine also featured Royal Mansour Marrakech as the second best tourism establishment in the city out of 11 tourism facilities around the world.

Before the COVID-19 crisis, Marrakech received millions of tourists all year round. That ended when the COVID-19 pandemic introduced public health restrictions that affected Morocco’s tourism secto. However, with the reopening of the country’s airspace, Morocco’s government is forecasting a good tourism season this year.
