Rabat – Travel magazine Conde Nast Traveller (CNT) has released a list featuring 11 of the best hotels in Morocco’s Red City – Marrakech.
The magazine released its list after Morocco reopened its airspace borders on February 7.

Morocco’s famous hotel La Mamounia tops Conde Nast Traveller’s list.
“And there’s La Mamounia hotel. This is where Charlie Chaplin and Churchill chose to hole up, and Hitchcock filmed The Man Who Knew Too Much,” says Conde Nast Traveller.
In December 2021, the magazine featured La Mamounia on its 2022 Gold List.
The magazine’s list of 11 best hotels in Marrakech features the Royal Mansour Marrakech as the second-best tourism establishment in the city.
“It’s made up of 53 guest riads, each three stories high, with up to four bedrooms, indoor-outdoor living spaces, and private rooftops with plunge pools and views of the Atlas Mountains,” the magazine said.
The Royal Mansour Marrakech made it on the 2021’s World’s Best Awards list by the Travel+Leisure magazine. Royal Mansour was featured as as the second top hotel in North Africa.
The list also included La Mamounia and the Four Season Resort in the city.
Conde Nast Traveller’s 11 Best Hotels in Marrakech placed the Oberoi Marrakech third-best. “This grand hotel, carved from marble, was 10 years in the making – finally opening its doors in 2019 after a decade of painstaking construction,” said the magazine.
The magazine’s fourth-best destination is l’Hotel, which the publication describes as an “ethereal place, where king size beds are covered in sweeping linens like something out of a fairy-tale.”
The other world-class Marrakech accommodations recommended by Conde Nast Traveller’s list are Riad Secret Jardin, Four Seasons Marrakech, Mandarin Oriental, Riad Goloboy, Kasbah Beldi, The Source, and Villa Azaytouna.
Before the pandemic, Marrakech received millions of travelers and tourists from across the world.
Countless Moroccans and other locals regularly enjoy visiting the Red City in the fall and spring.
