The Palace of Italian Institutions will host from 2 to 5 May the 16th edition of International Books and Arts Exhibition of Tangier program with various activities around the theme of “digital, a new era?”.

The event, organized by the French Institute of Morocco in the framework of the Cultural Season in partnership with the Tangier Region Cultural Action Association (ATRAC), will provide a platform for reflection on the digital age that marks the new millennium and its consequences on life and culture in Morocco and worldwide.

Speaker Monday evening at a press conference for the presentation of this edition, the director of the French Institute of Morocco, Bertrand Commelin, focused on logic implementation partnership for the realization of this event involving many public and private stakeholders concerned with the promotion of culture and reading in the northern region.

For his part, the director of the French Institute and director of the North Lounge, Mr. Alexander Pajon and show director, noted that this edition will be made with the participation of cultural actors and local education institutions, including Abdelmalek Essaadi University, the Regional Academy of Education and Training and the delegation of the Ministry of Culture to ensure greater integration of the event in the city’s cultural landscape.
