Moroccan football player Jaouad Akadar, died on Saturday in Agadir after he succumbed to a heart attack. The sudden death of the former player of the FAR of Rabat, occurred right after he participated in his team’s match against the Athletic Club of Kenitra. According to the sport news outlet El Botola, after the match the player was driving his teammates to their homes when he was a victim of a heart attack. He was 28 years old.
The death of Akadar happens a year after the death of another Moroccan player. In early October 2011, Raja of Casablanca’s Zakaria Zerouali, died after he took an overdose of sedatives.
