New York – Prince Faisal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, seventh son of the late King Abdulaziz Al Saud, founder of the Saudi kingdom, passed away on Saturday, according to the Saudi news agency. He was 74 years old.
The Saudi dynasty has been decimated in recent years by the successive deaths of putative candidates to the throne.
In October 2011, the Saud’s family lost one of its elder members, crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz.
Last June, Prince Prince Nayef Bin Abdulaziz, who was appointed hair apparent upon the death pf Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, also passed away. He was aged 77.
