Nacer Ben Abdeljalil, a Moroccan stuntman, is currently training to climb the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest.
In his ambitious feat, he plans to place the Moroccan flag at the top of the Everest.
As a marathon runner, he has already climbed several peaks throughout Europe. Having gained a rarefied, fruitful experience in mountain climbing, Ben Abdeljalil will soon set out to climb the Everest along with other fellow adventurous stuntmen.
In an interview with Moroccan television channel, Al Oula, Ben Abdeljalil expressed his eagerness to try his hand at something new. “Having climbed the highest mountains in France has given me an urge to be more adventurous and realize the dream of climbing Everest Mountain, “Ben Abdeljalil told Al Oula.
In the face of a new, real challenge, Ben Abdeljalil has set himself to solid trainings as a preparation for the journey towards the colossal Everest. “I go running five times a day, practice swimming and do weight-lifting,” he said.
“So as to get well prepared for the adventure, I have been to France where I got some training along with other fellow stuntmen,” He added.
Alongside some British stuntmen, Nacer is taking part in the adventure, hoping to hoist the Moroccan flag as a sign of his loyalty, pride and love for his home country.
“My ambition is to be the first Moroccan to put up the Moroccan flag on the highest peak in the world, ” Ben Abdeljalil said.
Nacer will begin his journey at the end of next March and projects that by mid-May he will have conquered the Everest.
