Rabat- In a recent survey about the most exciting talents in football (soccer) conducted by the British sports website Footballbettingodds.co.uk, Hachim Mastour, a 15-years-old Moroccan made it to the top of the list, which is comprised of 100 rising talents.
Compared to Zidane, Kaka and Ronaldinho, Mastour, touted as the Moroccan Messi and the new Baggio, is considered by those who have seen him on the pitch a talent that only comes along every 20 years.
The young Moroccan born started at Reggiana before landing in AC Milan in 2012 following a world-record teenager transfer worth 500,000 Euros.
The outstanding performance of Mastour earned him the attention of Europe’s football heavyweights, including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, and Manchester City.
“He’s certainly a natural on the ball, with plenty of tricky footwork, great technique and control”, says the website.
The list also includes another rising Moroccan talent, Zakaria Bakkali who plays for the Netherlands’s PSV. He ranked at the 34th place.
