A gas pipeline in the eastern Yemeni city of Marib was bombed on Thursday.
The attack, which took place near Ubayda Valley, is one of many lately that aim to undermine a lucrative oil export sector that accounts for 70% of the country’s national income.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, with no reports of casualties.
Yemen, which produces nearly 300 thousand barrels of petroleum a day, has been fighting an al Qaeda insurgency for the last two decades. The ongoing conflict has killed over two thousand people in the country.
