GAZA – Israeli jet fighters launched several raids on the Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
Four Israeli raids targeted two poultry farms east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, security sources and eyewitnesses said.
The raids also targeted a tunnel discovered by Israeli troops near Gaza borders with Israel.
Israeli aircraft also bombed a training site of Saraya al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, in the northern town of Beit Lahia.
No casualties were reported.
The Israeli army, meanwhile, said the raids targeted rocket launchers in Gaza.
Army spokesmen said that the raids were in retaliation for three mortar shells that were launched from Gaza at an army unit in Negev, according to Israeli daily Yediot Aharonot.
