Doha- Head of Government, Abdelilah Benkirane, arrived Sunday in Doha to take part in the Second Annual and Policy Studies Research Centers in the Arab world.

The meeting, which opened Saturday in the Qatari capital, will focus on “the Palestinian Cause and the Future of the Palestinian National Movement,” and is hosted by the Doha-based Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies.

On the sidelines of the conference, Benkirane will meet with several senior Qatari officials.

The meeting is attended by several Arab and foreign personalities from the worlds of politics and academia, including chief Palestinian negotiator, Saeb Erekat, former Tunisian Prime Minister Hamadi Jbali, former head of the Jordanian government, Taher Al Masry, and Special Rapporteur of the United Nations on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, Richard Falk.

Benkirane arrived in Doha from Paris where he represented HM King Mohammed VI at the Summit of the Elysée on peace and security in Africa.
