Rabat – The Moroccan government adopted on Friday the agreement signed last February in Rabat between Morocco and the United States of America on the status of American schools in Morocco.

The agreement, submitted by minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, sets conditions for the establishment, opening and management of American schools in Morocco, said communication minister and government spokesman Mustapha El Khalfi.

The Agreement also provides for cooperation between the schools’ governing boards and Moroccan authorities in the teaching of Moroccan language, culture, history and geography to Moroccan students attending American schools and gives to Morocco the right to open schools in the USA.
