Rabat- Moroccan holders of a French diploma can now easily get a visa for France for a period of at least one year, according to the French Ambassador to Morocco, Charles Fries.
Announced on January 30, 2014 by the Ambassador of France in Morocco, this measure is a response to the request submitted in 2013 by the Monitoring Committee of the Club France Morocco.
Speaking at the opening of the Salon des Etudes en France, held on 15 and 16 February in Rabat, the French diplomat  said that “As of March 1, the six French Consulates in Morocco will deliver, whenever possible, a Schengen visa for at least one year for all Moroccan graduates who recently obtained in France a diploma equivalent to a Master.”
Mr. Fries pointed out that “32,000 Moroccan students are present in France, and they represent the largest contingent of foreign students, ahead of Chinese and Algerian students. One out of ten foreign students in France is Moroccan.”
