Conakry – King Mohammed VI and Guinean President Pr. Alpha Condé chaired, on Monday in Conakry, the signing ceremony of 21 bilateral agreements in different areas of cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

The first agreement is on avoiding double taxation and prevention against fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income. It was signed by the Minister of Economy and Finance Mohamed Boussaid and Guinean Minister of State, Minister of Economy and Finance Mohamed Diaré.

The second agreement, signed by the Minister of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries Aziz Akhannouch, the CEO of Phosphates Office (OCP) Mostafa Terrab and the Guinean Minister of Agriculture Jaqueline Martha Sultan, is a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Guinea and the Ministry of Agriculture and maritime Fishing and the Phosphates Office (OCP).

Akhannouch and the Guinean Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Moussa Conde also signed a text under the form of a memorandum of understanding on capacity building of human resources at the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Republic of Guinea.

Cooperation in the sea fisheries sector has also been the object of a cooperation agreement signed by Akhannouch and Conde.

Morocco and Guinea have also concluded an agreement for the construction of two developed landing points, which was signed by Akhannouch, Boussaid, Terrab, on behalf of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Sustainable Development and the CEO of the Group Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) Mohamed Benchaaboun and by Condé and Diaré.

The sixth agreement, signed by the Minister of Infrastructure, Transport and Logistics Aziz Rabbah, and the Guinean Minister of Transport Aliou Diallo, is on cooperation in the field of merchant navy.

Akhannouch and his Guinean counterpart also signed a memorandum of understanding on maritime transport, while the Minister of Industry, Trade, Investment and the Digital Economy Moulay Hafid El Alamy, and the Guinean Minister of Trade Mark Yombouno signed a framework agreement for industrial and commercial cooperation.

As for the 9th agreement, signed by the Minister of Tourism Lahcen Haddad and the Guinean Minister of Hospitality Industry, Tourism and Handicrafts Louseny Camara, it is related to the application program for 2014-2017 of the agreement cooperation on tourism, while 10th agreement is between the Republic of Guinea and Addoha group for the building of economic housing and it was signed by the CEO of the group Addoha Anas Sefrioui and the Guinean Minister of Town and planning Ibrahim Bnagoura and Minister of Economy and Finance, Mohamed Diaré.

Mohamed Benchaaboun has also signed a partnership agreement with the Guinean Minister Delegate in charge of Guineans abroad Sanoussi Bantama Sow and another partnership agreement between the BCP and the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea in the person of its governor, Lounceny Nabe.

The 13th agreement, signed by the Director General of the Office of Vocational Training and Labour Promotion Larbi Bencheikh, and the Director General of the Office of Training and Professional Development Mohamed Keita, provides for a program of implementation of the cooperation between the two countries in the field of vocational training.

The Director General of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI) Abderrahim Kadmiri and the national director of public higher education Momo Bangoura, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the functioning and development of the Higher Institute of Commerce and business Administration in Guinea (ISCAE -G), while the CEO of MEDZ, a subsidiary of Caisse de dépôt et de gestion group (CDG ) has signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation industrial zones with the National Director of SMEs Dyan Khalil Sangare .

The 17th agreement protocol of cooperation between the National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mining (ONHYM) and Guinean society for Mining Heritage ( SOGUIPAMI ) was signed by the Director General of ONHYM and manager of the SOGUIPAMI Ahmed Kante and the 18th agreement on collaboration in the mining sector between SOGUIPAMI and Management group, and it was signed by the CEO of the Moroccan group Abdelaziz Abarro , and the deputy director of Guinean society Ahmed Kante.

Morocco and Guinea have also sealed a cooperation agreement between the National Office of electricity and drinking water ( ONEE ) and the Water Corporation of Guinea that was signed by the Director General of ONEE Ali Fassi Fihri, and General Coordinator of the water company of Guinea Mamadou Diallo Diouldé and a general cooperation agreement between the ONEE and Electricité de Guinée (EDG ) , which was signed by Fassi Fihri and General Coordinator of EDG , Nava Touré.

The 20th Convention on the partnership between the Attijariwafa Bank Group and the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea was signed by the CEO of the Moroccan group Mohamed El Kettani and the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea Lounceny Nabe, while the last agreement signed at the ceremony provides for a framework agreement for cooperation between EDG and BCP group. The agreement was signed by the CEO of BCP group , Mohammed Benchaaboun and General Coordinator of EDG, Nava Touré.
