Taroudant, Morocco – Local authorities reported that eight people were killed in a road accident early Thursday morning at Khmisset Chaouia, in the province of Settat, according to Maghreb Arab Press.

According to the same source, the accident occurred at 6 o’clock on the national road linking Settat to Marrakesh in Khmisset Chaouia, following a collision between a refrigerated truck and a large taxi.

The six passengers and the driver in the grand taxi and the truck driver, who is from Agadir, have been pronounced dead in this tragedy.

The same source added that their bodies were admitted to the hospital morgue of Settat.

Yesterday, a train from the National Railway Office (ONCF) linking Casablanca to Fez, derailed at the entrance of the Zenatta station, living 1 dead and 28 passengers injured.
