Vicente Del Bosque Calls up Haddadi to Join Spain’s Squad

Rabat- Spanish coach, Vicente Del Bosque, took Moroccans by surprise when he decided to call up Moroccan Mounir Haddadi, young striker of the F.C. Barcelona, to join the Spanish squad that will play Macedonia in its first 2016 Euro qualifier match scheduled for next Monday.

Del Bosque’s decision was made after the injury of Diego Costa, who was forced the squad on Friday.

Born and raised in Spain, The young prodigy who has just turned 19 is making headlines throughout the world thanks to his brilliant performance with star-studded side of Barcelona.

In a number of interviews with Spanish and foreign media, Haddadi said that he still had not made any decision on whether to play for the Moroccan or the Spanish selection. But with Del Bosque smart move to call him up, the young player is now forced to make a decision.

In case he responds positively to Del Bosque’s call, Morocco will lose another great player.
