Rabat – Moroccan singer, songwriter and compositor Nouamane Lahlou announced live on one of the radio programs his readiness to sell his Oudh in an auction and donate the amount it will generate to the victims of the floods that recently struck a number of regions in southern Morocco.

In a philanthropic initiative, the Moroccan singer announced live through Asswat radio that he is willing to assume responsibility of the school expenses of two poor students throughout his life.

“I have two announcements to make: First, I will provide for the school expenses of two students as long as I am live. Second, I will put in the auction my Oudh, most precious instrument to me that I made in Egypt with my signature,” Lahlou said in a video.

Born in 1965 in Fez, Nouamane Lahlou has made a number of emblematic songs that glorify the beauty of Morocco and its historical cities.
