Ouarzazate – Spain’s third largest airline, Air Europa, operated its first direct flight connecting Madrid to Ouarzazate in south-eastern Morocco on Thursday.
Air Europa in partnership with the Morocco’s tourism promotion office (ONMT) will operate two flights per week on Thursdays and Sundays, The ONMT said in a statement.
This connection adds to the existing 135 weekly flights between Morocco and Spain and will increase by 10,000 the number of seats to Ouarzazate in the current autumn and the summer of 2015.
