Miami – Morocco is proud to be the one of the chosen countries to host the 2015 Annual International Developers Conference named Devoxx Morocco. The largest event of its kind is coming to Africa and the MENA region for the first time.
Devoxx Morocco will be held in Casablanca at the Performing Arts Conference Center (Studio des Arts Vivants) from November 16-18, 2015. This European Conference began in Belgium in 2001 by Stephan Janssen and BeJUG, the Belgian Java User Group.
Devoxx Morocco was created “for learning, networking and sharing experiences about java and related technologies, software craftsmanship, technology trends, and more”.
Bringing together some of the world’s most talented individuals, the goal of this conference is to better prepare and educate “future developers, architects, and technical decision-makers”, according to Les Eco. This year, Morocco will showcase its technological landscape and share its vision.
The program will consist of a University Day for trainings and workshops, followed by two Conference Days where more than 150 internationally renowned speakers will share their knowledge in nearly 200 educational sessions.
The IT industry in Morocco will get the opportunity to discuss relevant topics during a Decision-Makers Evening, as well as creating leads during Startups and Hackerspace. Also, the conference will present Devoxx4Kids, where those aged 9-15 will be “introduced to programming, robotics and engineering in a fun way”.
Devoxx Morocco and Casablanca are expected to welcome over 1,500 people from all over the world. This high-quality event of technology experts is sure to become grounds for inspiration and new developments.
