Rabat – At least 65 people were killed after a crane collapsed on Friday at Masjid al-Haram, The Holy Mosque, in Saudi Arabia’s Mecca, due to strong winds.
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior said at least 65 people died in the incident while more than 154 people were injured, according to Al Arabiya News Channel.

Local media reports said the carne collapsed due to strong winds and heavy rainfall, at around 6 P.M. local time.
Footages and pictures of the incident flooded the internet showing the bodies of the victims lying motionless on the crane crash site.
