Taroudant – Muslims in France and all over the world turned to social media using the hashtag #NotInMyName to condemn the terrorist attacks that shock Paris on Friday that claimed the life of at least 129 and injured about 352.
Some tweeted the meaning of a verse from the Quran that reads, “Whoever kills an innocent person, it is as though he has killed all of mankind.”
A Muslim student Saltagi at an American university said that “the message that I want to spread is that the very small percentage of extremist committing these murders do not represent the rest of the 1.6 billion Muslims who absolutely condemn killing and violence.”
Numerous other Muslims posted images and statements condemning the terrorsit attacks everywhere, calling on all people not to confuse Islam, a religion of peace, and terrorism, which has no religion.

To show their compassion and help ease the pain of the families of the victims, the imam of the Great Mosque of Paris Dalil Boubaker invited all imams in France on Monday to take part in a Friday “solemn prayer” in homage to victims of Paris bombings.
