New York – Things went quite too far on Monday when a Donald Trump supporter was clearly heard yelling “Sieg heil!” a recognizable Nazi-era salute, while an anti-Trump protester was taken out of the room by security.

On the eve of the Republican debate, during a rally in Las Vegas on Monday night, Trump supporters got a bit aggressive and started screaming profanities when protesters stood up to speak against the GOP billionaire, according to MSNBC news.

Campaign security, according to the same source, were dragging and pushing protesters during the rally held at the Westgate Hotel and Resort.

Trump Audience Member Yells Nazi Salute as Protester

Earlier reports noted that an African-American protester reportedly from Black Lives Matter was “assaulted” by security personnel when a Trump supporter yelled in reference to the victim, “Light that motherf***er on fire!”

Other people in the crowd also yelled, “Shoot him!” “Kick his ass!”

According to an MSNB reporter who witnessed the incident , at the same time, a large middle-aged man yelled the Nazi/Hitler salute “Sieg heil!” as the man was roughly dragged out of the room.

“Sieg heil!” (Hail victory!) was a gesture salute adopted in the 1930s by the Nazi Party to signal obedience to the party’s leader – Adolf Hitler – and to glorify the German nation. The salute was mandatory for civilians.

Nowadays, the use of “Sieg heil!” is considered a criminal offense in Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria. In Switzerland and Sweden, the salute is illegal hate speech.

The salute can be heard in a video posted by NBC’s Today show on Tuesday morning.

According to NBC News, a man in a “glittering black suit” — was heard yelling, “He’s a Muslim! He’s a Muslim!” in reference to the man who was dragged out of the room.

The protester was allegedly upset about Trump’s hate speech against Muslims. The man was taken into custody, the same report noted.

Fifteen to 20 people “attempted to disrupt the event, were escorted out, trespassed off property, but no arrests were made,” a spokeswoman for the Las Vegas Police Department said.
