Alwaleed’s remarks come few days after Trump proposed to temporarily bar Muslims from entering the United States, following the terrorist attacks in Paris and California. Within hours, the Republican presidential candidate hit back at Prince Al waleed, calling him a “dopey prince.” “@Alwaleed_Talal wants to control our U.S. politicians with daddy’s money. [He] Can’t do it when I get elected,” Trump tweeted.

Trump’s hate speech against Muslims have already cost him business in the Middle East. Dubai’s retails giant Landmark Group has decided to stop selling his glitzy “Trump Home” line of lamps, mirrors and jewelry boxes.
Last week, Dubai real estate firm Damac, which is building a $8.23 billion golf complex with Trump, stripped the property of his name and image.
Many prominent politicians and presidential candidates have denounced Trump’s outright hate speech against Muslims.
Democrat presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, denounced Trump’s proposal, labelling it as an “ugly, distasteful and dangerous idea.”
