Agadir  –  Some 884,848 tourists visited Agadir last year, a 2.15 percent decline in comparison with 2014, according to the city’s Regional Tourist Council (CRT).

Domestic tourists topped the list of arrivals with 320,247 visitors, a 15.85 percent increase in comparison with the previous year (277,423 tourists), the source added.

French tourists came second with a total of 145,372 visitors, compared to 179,437 a year earlier (- 18.98 percent ), while the number of German tourists reached 86,767 visitors in 2015 against 81,241 the year before (+ 6.8 percent).

The number of British tourists was 79,204 in 2015 against 80,227 in 2014 (- 1.28 percent), while the number of Polish tourists dropped to 43,428 in 2015 against 53,806 the year before.
