Rabat – The Socialist Union of Popular Forces Party (USFP) will win Morocco’s next parliamentary election, says Driss Lachgar, USFP’s General Secretary.
In a meeting to discuss USFP’s results on Tuesday, Lachghar said that USFP “is able to win the majority in the coming parliamentary elections.
Amid one of the fieriest contests between the Moroccan parties to win the election scheduled for October 7, Lachgar added that USFP “has made many efforts to serve the Moroccan citizens, who trust USFP’s potentials to manage their affairs.”
Lachgar said that the strongest leader is the one who engages the battle without announcing that he/she will fail to win.
Lachgar added that the USFP’s board has not decided to announce the endorsed candidates of the party thus far. He noted that the deadline to submit the list of candidates is on September 23.
