Paris – King Mohammed VI’s has advised Saad Lamjarred’ family to take Mr Eric Dupont Moretti as lawyer for the Moroccan singer, and decided to pay for relating fees, sources from the Moroccan embassy in France said on Monday, according to Maghreb Arab Press (MAP).
The Moroccan singer was indicted and put in prison, on Friday night in Paris, on the charges of “sexual assault and violence”. His defense had appealed his detention decision.
Saad Lamjarred was expected to give a concert on Saturday at the Palace of Congress in Paris.
