Rabat – The GENI Forum is organizing a conference December 6th to discuss continuing the efforts of COP22 in tackling the subject of environmental protection and sustainable development.
The Forum, which has been held annually since 2004, is organized by the students of four major engineering schools in the country, INSEA, ENSIAS, INPT and ESI. For this edition they have chosen “Morocco, of Africa and for Africa: a Common Commitment to Sustainable Development” as the theme.
Through the organized conference, under the title of “Post COP 22: The Moroccan Economy Facing Environmental Challenges,” the forum proposes to address the protection and preservation of the environment while shedding light on the COP22 summit key outcomes and results.
The event will take place at the National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (INSEA) starting 18:30 and will be hosted by renowned personalities including Driss Guerraoui, Secretary General of the Economic and Social Council, and Asma El Kasmi, Director of Cooperation and Communication at ONEE branch of Water.
The annual GENI Forum presents a major opportunity for Moroccan engineering students to create a conversational platform where matters of particular interest can be discussed and introduced to the professional world.
