Casablanca – Morocco Numeric Cluster (MNC) and Cap Digital Paris Region signed, on Wednesday in Casablanca, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on digital governance.
Signed by President of MNC, Mehdi Kettani, and Director General of “Cap Digital Paris Region”, Patrick Cocquet, the MoU aims to consolidate the efforts of the two institutions to develop Moroccan-French innovation and promote trade relations between the two countries.
This agreement, which is part of the signing of a partnership agreement between the regions of Casablanca-Settat and Ile-de-France, also aims to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the two countries in the sectors of industry and digital services, in addition to the development of joint projects.
The MoU is also meant to strength digital governance and digitize procedures for socio-economic activities.
Under this agreement, the two parties undertake to set up a platform for exchanging information, create a working group to define the opportunities offered by joint projects, and exchange experiences to support companies and research centers in both countries.
