Rabat – A delegation of three doctors and medical experts from Harvard University paid a visit to the Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences (UM6SS) March 15 to 20.
The official visit consisted of three-day working sessions on medical researches and development, accompanied by Moroccan medical students and experts of the UM6SS.
During the visit, the Harvard and UM6SS staffs examined strategies and best practices for expanding a compelling and productive medical research program that serves patients.
The event, part of an agreement signed in October 2016 between UM6SS and the Harvard Professor’s Association, was also an opportunity to discuss some efficient approaches of international scientific publications.
The agreement included a set of training programs enabling Moroccan medical students to conduct clinical observations at several Harvard university hospitals.
“The purpose of this agreement is to develop a close partnership between the two institutions in the areas of training, care and research,” said a press release issued by UM6SS.
In response to this, UM6SS and Harvard have agreed to participate in various future partnership initiatives.
