Ramadan: Tramway Schedule Changed in Rabat

Rabat – Transdev, the company managing the tramway Rabat-Sale, has revealed a new schedule for the holy month of Ramadan. 

In Salé, the first departures are at 6:47 a.m from Hay Karima and 6:50 a.m from Hassan II. In Rabat, they are at 7:30 a.m from Madinat Al Irfane and Moulay Youssef Hospital.

Final departures in Salé will leave at 23:10 from Hay Karima and Hassan II. In Rabat, the last service will start at 23:46 from the Hospital Moulay Youssef and 23:54 from Madinat Al Irfane.

Transdev said that the frequency of line N°1 from Monday to Friday will be every 10 minutes until 11 a.m, when it will be every 13 minutes until the Iftar. However the frequency of line N° 2 will remain every 13 minutes until the end of the traffic.

During the Iftar, services will be paused each day for about an hour, and then resumed. Transdev added that on weekends and holidays, trams will run every 13 minutes before the Iftar and every 20 minutes after it.
