Rabat – Former Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde has been heavily rumored to sign with Barcelona as its new team manager, become the Catalans’ right-hand man.
Speculators have claimed that Barcelona will announce Valverde as its coach on May 29.
The Spaniard has been called one of the successful coaches in the history of football.
The Catalans are desperate to find a coach who seeks perfection, and Valverde is set to fit the team’s criteria, having played for Barcelona for two seasons (1988-1990).
The team is also looking forward to sign more international superstars in order to promote their midfield. Barcelona is heavily targeting three international superstars, namely Paris Saint German’s Marco Veratti, Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho and Manchester United’s Ander Hererra.
