Rabat – The National Professional Football League (LNFP) has extended Morocco’s summer transfer window for the 2026-27 season until September 25, giving professional clubs additional time to complete their recruitment operations.
The LNFP announced the decision in an official statement on Wednesday, confirming that the registration and transfer of players will remain open until the revised deadline.
Under the new schedule, clubs competing in Morocco’s professional football competitions will have additional time to finalize incoming and outgoing transfers before the transfer window closes.
The league said the extension remains subject to clubs meeting all applicable legal and regulatory requirements governing player registration and transfers.
The additional period could give clubs more flexibility to complete negotiations that remain ongoing and reinforce their squads ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
Several Moroccan professional clubs have been active in the transfer market during the summer, with teams working to strengthen different areas of their squads and prepare for the new season.
The extension also provides clubs with more time to complete the administrative procedures required to register newly recruited players, provided they comply with the relevant regulations.
The revised deadline comes as clubs continue to assess their squads and make adjustments before the start of the competitive campaign. Teams that have yet to complete their recruitment plans can now use the additional days to finalize potential deals.
The LNFP did not provide further details on the reasons behind the decision to extend the transfer window.
The new deadline means Moroccan professional clubs will now have until September 25 to complete their summer transfer operations under the conditions established by the league and the relevant football regulations.
