Rabat – Real Madrid’s former goalkeeper, Iker Casillas has been heavily rumored to sign with Liverpool. The Spanish goalkeeper spent two seasons with Portuguese club FC Porto.
According to Spanish sports outlet AS, the English team is ready to offer the the 36-year-old goalkeeper an attractive bid in order to join the club. International media speculators have claimed that Casillas has already agreed on a pre-contract with Liverpool.
The Spanish footballer has been also targeted by several international football clubs in Qatar, Turkey and China.
Casillas began his career as a child with Real Madrid in 1990. The player was promoted to the senior squad in 1999, with which he played for 16 years.
The Spanish goalkeeper started playing with his national team at the age of 19. Casillas has been called one of the best goalkeepers in the history of football.
