Rabat – On the International Worker’s Day, Miloudi Moukharik, Secretary General of the Moroccan Labour Union, demanded the government for a “real” social policy development in order to advance the standard of living of the working class.
The Democratic Federal of Labour, called on the new government to show its “good intention” by triggering the remaining commitment of their April 26, 2011 agreement, which called for increasing the wages of employees and the likelihood of raises.
For his part, Mohammed Yatim, newly appointed Minister of Employment and Vocational Integration, said that the government is determined to proceed the deliberations and dialogue with all government’s social partners.
“[The government] believes in the role that is played by the serious unions and Moroccan national entrepreneurship,” he added.
