Rabat – Casablanca’s council this week put up billboards stating the price of parking tickets in order to avoid the exorbitant prices charged by car park attendants across the city.
The council decided that car drivers must pay MAD three, while motorcycle drivers must pay MAD two and truck drivers pay MAD five. Prices will double during the night.
Earlier this month, Moroccan TV channel 2M discussed the parking costs in Casablanca that outraged the city’s residents.
Speakers complained that numerous car park attendants had been charging vehicle drivers unfairly high prices.
