Rabat – Abdelatif Hammouchi, Head of General Directorate of National Secruity (DGSN) has put in place several measures to stop fake transcripts being used to help obtain security jobs in Morocco.
According to Al Massae newspaper’s weekend edition, the aim of these new measures is to introduce greater transparency into the way people are recruited. The DGSN will also use new technology to revolutionize the verification process.
Hammouchi emphasized the importance of scrutinizing the candidates’ applications in order to avoid hiring people who use fake certificates and diplomas, including school Baccalaureate and university degrees. This action will not only affect current applicants, but also those who have already successfully used fake documents to obtain jobs.
English is one of the necessary requirements to pass the recruitment process as it will evaluate the candidates’ language abilities.
The same source added that DGSN has scheduled a recruitment test for 5,540 positions on September 24 in Rabat and other cities across the kingdom.
