Rabat – Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred published on Sunday a mashup fusing his recent singles on his official Facebook account. As of September 18, the video has already reached 337,000 views on Youtube.
The mashup was made by Samy Zenati, an Algerian producer, beat maker, and composer. The clip was edited by Karim Bennis, a video editor and friend of Lamjarred.
The recording combines the instrumental and vocal tracks from Lamjarred’s last two hits, “Ghaltana” and “Let Go.”
The mashup is his second song since he was released from prison on probation in April 2017, after being arrested for the alleged sexual assault of a French young woman in October 2016.
Despite the complaints filed against him, Lamjarred remains one of the most successful singers in the Middle East and North Africa. His latest song “Let Go,” has reached 65 million views on Youtube in a one-month period.
Lamjarred was also nominated by TC Candler as one of the Most Handsome Faces of 2017.
