Rabat – Flower Cafe, Morocco’s first women-only cafe, has officially opened its doors to female customers in Tetouan, northern Morocco.
Active on Instagram, the cafe shared beautiful moments with its customers. Photos posted on social media show that the cafe has already attracted dozens of women who enjoy the cafe’s feminine atmosphere.

The interior of the cafe has a pink base with flowers decorating the walls.
The cafe offers customers a range of facilities and social activities, such as a reading space with a library, live music, and a karaoke session every weekend.
The cafe also offers customers creative dishes.
In a previous statement to Morocco World News, employee in charge of the coffee shop Oumaima Ahrif explained that the staff will be all women.

She added that the owner of the coffee shop, Ikram Ben El Khalil, wanted to provide women with a unique platform where they can feel “comfortable.”
She said that there will be no cameras in the cafe.

“Women with hijabs can also remove their headscarves if they feel like it. They can laugh the way they want, they can feel like themselves and can discuss any kind of topics with their friends at Flower Cafe,” Ahrif told MWN.
The employee also explained that the coffee shop will be hold special events, such as discussions to talk about women-related topics.
She said that the cafe will invite academics, and public celebrities to debate female-led topics.
A percentage of the cafe’s revenue will also go to an association that help patients with cancer.
The official page of the cafe on Instagram generated thousands of likes and followers.
The page has about 29,300 followers so far. Celebrities have also visited the space, including famous Moroccan model and influencer Abir Berani.
The cafe shared several photos of Berrani in different spots in the cafe, enjoying a bouquet of chocolates and macaroons on the house.
