Rabat – Youssef Boughanem, the decorated Moroccan-Belgian Muay-Thai artist who earned the title of world champion in 2019, is set to coach a training session in Casablanca on Sunday, January 19.

Maghreb Arab Press (MAP) reported that the Royal Moroccan Federation of Kick Boxing is organizing the event that will give Moroccans the opportunity to meet and learn from the world champion.

The 30-year-old athlete was born in Belgium to Moroccan parents and started practicing Muay-Thai as a teenager. Following the death of his parents, Boughanem moved to Thailand at age 17 with his brother Yassine.

Boughanem earned the World Boxing Council and World Kickboxing Network Muay-Thai Super Welterweight world titles on April 22, 2019. His career totals approximately 240 fights and 205 wins, including seven world champion titles since 2015.
