Rabat – Three hotels in the Moroccan city of Marrakech made it to the list of 2021’s World’s Best Awards, the Travel+Leisure announced earlier this month.

The best awards survey identified the 10 best destinations in North Africa and the Middle East for a comfortable and memorable holiday.

Royal Mansour, one of the popular destinations in the city of Marrakech, was featured as the second top hotel in North Africa.

A world-class hotel, Royal Mansour consists of dozens of  individual riads. Each riad includes a courtyard, a living room, a private rooftop terrace among others.

Royal Mansour has won many awards in recent years, and many tourists and tourism professionals consider it the best hotel in Morocco and Africa, as well as one of the finest  across the world.

In October 2019, the American luxury and lifestyle magazine Conde Nast Traveler ranked Royal Mansour as the best hotel in Africa and the sixth best in the world.

Also featured in Travel+Leisure’s latest ranking is La Mamounia as the third top hotel in North Africa.

As eye-catching and iconic as Royal Mansour, La Mamounia is one of the most coveted hotels among high-profile tourists who visit  Morocco.

La Mamounia has also received multiple awards for its unique architecture and luxurious assets that attract both locals and international travelers.

In 2018, Conde Nast Traveler feat ranked La Mamounia Hotel in Marrakech as the best hotel in the world.

The third Marracked establishment on Travel+Leisure’s list is the Four Seasons Resort; the resort is the third best hotel in Morocco and the seventh in the MENA, according to the travel magazine.

“The city’s Four Seasons Resort, situated on 40 acres of Moorish gardens just outside the old medina, comes in at No. 7. Readers universally praised its enchanting grounds and spacious rooms — but, of course, it’s the interpersonal experiences that make all the difference,” Travel+Leisure wrote.

The magazine’s rankings are based on a survey that compiles travel experiences from readers between January and May every year.

For this year’s survey, the majority of Travel+Leisure readers voted  the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel in Dubai as the best in the MENA region.

Other hotels in the rankings are Marriott Mena House in Cairo, Four Seasons Hotel in Aman, Jordan, and Four Seasons Hotel in Cairo at Nile Plaza, David Citadel in Jerusalem, King David in Jerusalem, and Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino.
