Oppo Expands “1-Hour Flash Fix Service” Campaign to Morocco

Denver- Chinese phone manufacturer Oppo is planning an expansion of its global rapid phone repair service in several countries including Morocco.

In a Thursday press release, Oppo announced the expansion of its phone repair service would include Morocco, Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Pakistan, Algeria, and Kenya. Oppo’s 1-hour “flash fix” service program has been part of the company’s services since 2019. According to the company, the service gives Oppo users the ability “to have their phones repaired as quick as one hour or less at the Oppo Service Center that supports Flash Fix service.”

Oppo stated it has recently invested in training its engineers’ “professional skills to provide this high-quality fast repair service.” The company hosted over 1,300 repair specialists in a month-long contest to improve skills including phone welding, examination, disassembly, and troubleshooting.

Oppo, which has operated in Morocco since 2010, generates over $800,000 in annual sales according to business data site Dun & Bradstreet. Oppo currently operates in over 40 countries around the world, providing a low-cost smartphone product for customers across Asia, Europe, and Africa.

Oppo, along with other Chinese manufacturers like Huawei and Transsion, have increasingly set their sights on Africa as a focus for its sales operations. The Chinese companies have filled a vital role in the burgeoning African need for smartphone products.

While major smartphone companies like Apple have primarily focused sales efforts in wealthier nations in Europe and the US, several Chinese companies are expanding their presence throughout Africa. Noting the rapidly growing African youth population, the companies are providing affordable products and services to many customers throughout the African continent and amassing huge profits in the process.
