Royal Air Maroc to Resume Direct Flights to Miami, Doha in December

Denver – Royal Air Maroc, Morocco’s flagship airline, announced it would resume direct flights from Casablanca to Doha and Miami before the end of the year.

Both the Casablanca-Miami and Casablanca-Doha lines were suspended in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Royal Air Maroc says it will resume flights to Miami on a biweekly basis starting on December 24, with flights to and from Mohammed V airport scheduled for every Friday and Sunday.

Flights from Casablanca to Doha will also resume on the same day, with flights to Doha scheduled every Wednesday and Friday. Flights from Doha will arrive at Mohammed V Airport every Thursday and Saturday.

Royal Air Maroc has steadily worked to reopen its global flight networks as the global pandemic situation begins to improve. With flights to over 94 destinations, RAM has worked to expand its flight destinations across Africa, Europe, Asia, North America, and South America.

The company also plans on restoring its direct line between Casablanca and Montreal by the end of October. As it looks to further its African presence, the Moroccan airline intends to soon launch flights linking Africa to Central America with direct flights in the near future.

Royal Air Maroc has also formed alliances with Qatar Airways and American Airlines, while also joining the renowned Oneworld Alliance.

The alliance is a group of several of the world’s top airline companies, and its members often facilitate codesharing initiatives to facilitate global travel through strategic partnerships.
