Transavia France announced today the resumption of its flights’ program to Morocco starting on February 7.
The Air France-KLM group’s low-cost subsidiary is operating 17 routes from France to 10 Moroccan destinations, with flights departing from Paris-Orly, Nantes, Lyon, and Montpellier. Flights tickets are on sale as of today, January 29.
As of February 7, Transavia will be linking the Paris-Orly airport to the Moroccan cities of Agadir, Casablanca, Essaouira, Fez, Nador, Oujda, Marrakech, Rabat, Tangier, and Ouarzazate. Departing from Nantes-Atlantique, Transavia flights will reach Agadir, Casablanca, and Marrakech.
Transavia will also operate flights from Lyon Saint-Exupery airport to Agadir, Casablanca, and Marrakech, while Montpellier-Mediterranean will link flights with Marrakech.

With this announcement, Transavia is joining some other airlines in scheduling its flights to and from Morocco in accordance with the country’s announcement of the reopening of borders starting February 7.
Binter, a Spanish airline, will begin international flights to and from Morocco on February 7.
The airline will link the Canary Islands in Spain with the Moroccan cities of Laayoune, Agadir, and Dakhla. Currently, tickets can be purchased through traditional sales channels, Binter platforms, travel agents, and airport offices.
Royal Air Maroc, Morocco’s flag carrier, also has said earlier that international flights from and to the country will resume on February 7.
Moroccan citizens and companies affected by the border closure, such as travel agencies and others in the tourism industry, have all applauded the move.
