Anas Laabi to Lead Moroccan Branch of Boston Consulting Group

Rabat - Moroccan Anas Laabi was named Managing Director at Casablanca’s Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

Rabat – Moroccan Anas Laabi was named Managing Director at Casablanca’s Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

Laabi first joined the BCG’s executive board in 2019 before taking up the senior position of managing director in early January 2022.

Before joining BCG Casablanca, Laabi filled multiple senior positions within multinationals. He worked as Senior Manager at French multinational consulting group, A.T. Kearney between 2005 and 2012.

Laabi joined French media giant Technicolor as Strategy Director one year later and rose through the ranks to become Chief of Staff, as well as Strategy and Corporate Development Director and M&A in 2013.

Laabi graduated from ESSEC Business School, a top business school in France. With over 16 years of cumulative experience, Laabi is an expert in Industrial Goods, Technology Advantage, and Private Equity Practices. His experience equally extends to corporate digital transformation, end-to-end operations, mergers and acquisitions, and new market entry strategies.

Within BCG, Laabi is spearheading materials and process industries activities in North and West Africa. He also runs the BCG Transaction services across Africa.

BCG is a global consulting group with a foothold in over 50 countries and regions. Founded in 1963, the group grosses $8.6 billion in annual revenues and employs 22,000 employees in 90 offices around the world.

The group offers consulting services for clients across various industries from travel and tourism, to aerospace and defense. The group’s pool of clients includes companies ranking among the 500 largest companies worldwide including tech giant IBM.

The group first entered Morocco in 2010 and has recently launched a technology consulting subsidiary in the country under the name BCG Platinion.

The consulting powerhouse has a branch in Casablanca with a team of 60 consultants and staff.
