Rabat – Casablanca-based Brand Factory has organized a celebration ceremony on the occasion of International Women’s Day to acknowledge the achievements and contributions of Moroccan women leaders in different sectors.

Under the theme “Inspiring, Influential, and Committed Women,” the PR company’s club named, BF Influence Le Club, held on March 7 in Casablanca an event to celebrate Moroccan women leaders.

“BF Influence – Le Club honored 7 women with exemplary careers who, through their work and action, have stood out and have contributed significantly to national development in various fields,” Brand Factory and BF Influence reported in a press release.

Sponsored by several Moroccan and international companies, the event was hosted by Nawal Houti, CEO of Brand Factory, and wisdom seeker Hassan Charaf.

Noteworthy politicians and public figures joined the distinguished guest list, including Mayor of Casablanca, Nabila Rmili, and the President of Guelmim Oued-Noun’s Regional Council, Mbarka Bouaida.

Bayer North Africa’s Public Affairs and Communication Director Rajaa Kantaoui, and Politics and Communication Expert Khadija Sansar also attended the event as guests of honor.

The Founder of Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Morocco (AFEM) Saloua Karkri Belkeziz, Vice-President of National Press Council Fatim-Zahra Ouriaghli, and Surgeon and member of New Development Model’s special commission Rajaa Aghzadi were also present.

Along with the seven guests of honor, six female pioneers also participated in the event, including the Franco-Moroccan journalist and author Nisrine Slaoui, Director-General of Grupo Planeta and Secretary-general of National Tourism Confederation, Wissal El Gharbaoui, and entrepreneur and founder of Douar Tech Hanae Bezad.

Additionally, the Founder and President of NGO Jood Hind Laidi, President of the International Network for the Development of Women’s Leadership (WIMEN), Laila El Andaloussi, and Moroccan influencer Ihssane Benalluch participated in the event.

Commenting on the event, the club’s founder Nawal Houti stressed the importance of recognizing the valuable contributions of women within Moroccan society.

“We wanted to celebrate this day by focusing on the achievements of Moroccan women to value them and reflect on how to enable them to impact the new development model desired by King Mohammed VI for a prosperous Morocco,” she stated during the event.

Through the sharing of experiences, Houti added, women excelling in different sectors become a source of inspiration to younger generations.

Guest of honor Saloua Karkri Belkeziz commended the progress and participation of women in Moroccan society.

“With the new development model, there is a real desire to improve the representation of women in the economic sphere,” she said, noting that economic growth and job creation are linked to female participation in economic activities.

Belkeziz also highlighted the appointment of women to political positions in Casablanca and Rabat. “This will guarantee an environment that will allow women to flourish,” she added.
