A large delegation from Morocco will be attending and participating in the Young Leaders Forum, a four-day event scheduled to begin on March 3.
The event is organized by the United Nations association of Morocco (UNA-Morocco), in collaboration with the United Nations Association of the United Arab Emirates (UNA-UAE).
The forum will take place in Dubai, with more than 300 young people from over 70 countries scheduled to participate. During the event, participants will discuss the importance of including young people in decision-making processes.
Dr. Abderrahmane Chabib, Secretary General of the Moroccan Pro-UN Association, is leading the Moroccan delegation in Dubai.

“We are proud to be able to confirm our effective collaboration within this important conference and to be able to return the name of our country to an initiative of this level that represents not only a unique opportunity for young Moroccans, but also an excellent opportunity for our country to return. to affirm its leadership in the context of Expo 2020 in Dubai,” Chabib said.
The Moroccan delegation will be chairing the forum, while the topics that will be discussed the most will be “the environment, cybersecurity, and the entire conflict in Ukraine and Russia,” he added.
The forum is part of “The Future We Want” initiative, which is held annually at the United Nations in New York, where more than 3000 young leaders from over 140 countries take to the stage to voice their opinions and get involved in discussing important global issues.
Meanwhile, two well-known organizations are confirmed to attend the event: the Arab Youth Venture Foundation (AYVF). Since its founding in 2007, AYVF’s main goal has been to foster innovative thinking among Arab youth, promote youth inclusion in the Arab world, and introduce Arab youth to a broad range of educational fields, especially space, science, engineering, and technology.
Also attending the event is the Italian Diplomatic Academy (IDA), one of the most prestigious Italian institutes that specializes in training and research activities of international importance.
The event’s organizers have confirmed that, in addition to the young people who will be at the center of the celebration, several diplomats and important political figures will attend the event. The participation of general commissioners from various Member States in Expo 2020 in Dubai has also been confirmed. The Dubai Expo 2020 is scheduled to conclude on March 31, 2022.
