Rabat – Morocco’s under-18 team (U-18) will play two friendly matches against Spain in Rabat on April 26 and April 28.
According to Sefutbol, Spain’s U-18 team coach has released the official list of players that will play against Morocco’s U-18 national football team.
The two national teams will play both matches in the Mohammed VI sports complex in Rabat on Tuesday, April 26, and Thursday, April 28. Both matches will start at 10:00 PM, reported the same source.
The Spanish team is composed of 22 players. Five of those play with FC Barcelona’s U-18 team, and four of them play for Real Madrid FC. They will arrive in Morocco on Monday, April 25 and return to Spain on Friday, April 29.
Morocco’s U-18 team faced off against Spain’s U-18 team only once during the last Mediterranean Games in Tarragona, Spain in 2018. Spain’s under 18s8 won the match with a 2-1 score.
The International Committee of Mediterranean Games (CIJM) organizes the Mediterranean Games, a multi-sport event every four years. The event attracts athletes from African, Asian, and European countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea.
The first Mediterranean Games were held in 1951 in Alexandria, Egypt. The upcoming games will be held between June 25 to July 5, 2022, in Oran, Algeria.
Morocco’s Casablanca hosted the Mediterranean Games in 1983.

Morocco’s record in the Mediterranean Games includes 69 total gold medals, 77 silver medals, and 99 bronze medals.
Italy holds the first rank in the number of gold medals that the country earned, with 876 in total.
