Rabat – Ain Soltane water is the best mineral water in Morocco, according to a company that ranks different goods in countries across the world.
Product of the Year crowned Ain Soltane as its product of the year in the category of mineral water, Maghreb Arabe Presse reported on Monday.
The 5th national edition of the awards surveyed 3,000 Moroccan consumers across different regions in the country.
The study was based on three main criteria: how innovative the brands are, the appeal of the product to customers, and the likelihood that a consumer will buy a product or a service.
The Ain Soltane bottles come in various sizes from 33cl to five liters.
The bottles are filled from water in the town of Imouzzer Kandar, south of Fes.
Al Karama mineral water company, a part of the Ynna Holding in Morocco, released the Ain Soltane product in March 2007.
Al Karama’s CEO Mounir El Bari said that the consumer’s health is his company’s top concern, according to the Moroccan Diplomatic journal on Monday, April 4.
The International Product of the Year award has been growing steadily for over 35 years in 45 countries.
